Advancing Mycological Research in Sri Lanka, powered by the Tropical Microbiology Research Foundation, is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Bioprocess Technology, Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, the Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, and the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). This initiative serves as a governing platform for mycological studies in Sri Lanka, focusing on fungi from aquatic, terrestrial, and extreme ecosystems. Our mission is to inspire and train young scientists and passionate mycologists who are deeply committed to the exploration, conservation, and appreciation of nature.
